In order to conclude which policies should be implemented, an  institution needs an evaluation to determine its score on the inclusion ladder. After this vital first step, several measures should be taken to ensure inclusion is more than just a concept. They include:


  • Assessing the degree of inclusion, a system or institution has already achieved
  • Collecting data related to employee and client diversity and inclusion
  • Training the human resources team on the implementation of relevant principles
  • Raising awareness on inclusion in the workplace and how to foster it
  • Tailoring report mechanisms to ensure everyone is equally held accountable for any breach in the relevant principles
